Terms of Service

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms apply to Metric (“Metric”, “the bot”, “we”), a Discord bot, and to this website. By adding Metric to a server or using any of its commands or features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the bot.

1. Who can use Metric

You must meet the minimum age required by Discord in your country and follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. To add Metric to a server you need the permission to manage that server.

2. What Metric does

Metric is a multi-purpose bot. Depending on how a server administrator configures it, it can provide:

Features can be added, changed or removed at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Server owners and administrators

If you add or configure Metric, you are responsible for how it is used in your server. This includes the permissions you give it, the log channels, ticket and application settings you choose, and who can see them. Some features (such as message logs, ticket transcripts and application answers) record member content, so you are responsible for informing your members and for following the laws that apply to you.

5. Economy, levels and virtual items

Balances, XP, levels, points, badges and rank cards are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money. We may correct, reset or remove them if we find a bug, abuse or a violation of these terms. Metric Plus benefits, prices and availability may change.

6. AI features

The AI chat feature sends the message you write to a third-party AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate a reply. AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate, so do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Do not send passwords, personal data or other sensitive information to the AI.

7. Islamic content

Questions, duas, hadith and reminders are provided for general learning and reminders only. They are not a fatwa or religious ruling. Please ask a qualified scholar for religious advice.

8. Availability

Metric is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will always be online, error free or that data will never be lost. We may update, pause or stop the bot at any time, for example for maintenance or because of Discord outages.

9. Suspension and removal

We may block users or servers from using Metric, without notice, if they break these terms or Discord’s rules, or if their use harms the bot or other people. You can stop using Metric at any time by removing it from your server.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Metric and its developers are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the bot. This includes lost data, lost virtual items, server changes made by administrators, and actions taken by moderators using the bot.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using Metric after a change, it means you accept the new terms.
